Nice restaurant, delicious food, big portions and friendly staff. The price was okay for the size of the dishes. We selected some Schnitzel variations and had the nice surprise that soup and salad from the salad bar were included. Highly recommended.
It's situated on the edge of the forrest in Eschweiler. Easy to find, with parking nearby, wheelchair accessible, nice partially covered terrace for summer with a cute fountain.
The service was good, we got lucky with the Schnitzel day and could choose from the large schnitzel variety with two types of soup in price. The salad counter wasn't wowing me, the ingredients aren't fresh, however they had pickles, so for me fine. Food was excellent, not to fat any dry.. The waitress seems kinda tired, but okay.
There are clean, really large toilets!

Wat a nice and very good Restaurant. The food was outstandingly delicious. The salad from the salad bar is exquisite. And the service is great too. German cuisine at it‘s best. Prices are very low compared to the great quality portion sizes.
Very friendly and relatively quick service but not sure why the food gets such high reviews (maybe because it's relatively cheap?). Tuna salad consists of oranges, lemons, tons of onions and tons of mayonnaise-joghurt splashed on top of it all so nothing really fits together, it looked unappealing and tasted like...Well, tuna, lemons, oranges and onions together in a mayonnaise soup... Boiled potatoes come from a bag/can and are not fresh, the gravy is made from glutamine-filled powder. Clientele on Sunday was quite above 60 years old and the place felt like they came here for the past 20 years and don't know any better... Portions are relatively big and the meals cheap which is a reason for the Star. Second Star goes to the friendly staff, food gets zero appreciation. No credit card payment but for American Express possible
